KE3 smartwatch client

An independent client for the EIGIIS KE3 smartwatch, with the Bluetooth protocol rebuilt without the official app.

The problem

The smartwatch only works with its official app, which decides which data you see and where it ends up. There’s no protocol documentation: to read your own data you have to figure out by yourself how the watch talks.

The solution

  • A Python client that connects to the watch over Bluetooth Low Energy without the official app.
  • Real-time heart rate, with a live-updating chart.
  • History sync with CSV export, reading and setting the time.
  • Graphical interface, command line and a Flutter companion app.

How it’s built

  • The protocol (FitCloudPro) was rebuilt through reverse engineering: frame format, sequences and acknowledgements, CRC-16/ARC and an AES encryption layer.
  • The binary protocol primitives are separate from the Bluetooth transport, and reusable for any other BLE device.
  • Handshake, real-time heart rate, sync and time setting are validated on the real watch; every byte received goes into a raw log for analysis.
